Secret Santa Art Exchange

Aggie and I held a Secret Santa Art Exchange at Storm8 this year. We had this event last year at CrowdStar and now that we both work at Storm8, we thought it would be fun to get the art team to participate in this too.

Sueann was my chosen person. I read somewhere that she liked Japanese background paintings, so I thought that she may like something with cherry blossoms painted with some Asian influence to it.

Here was my process and what I came up with:

Our mini gallery turned out to be a big success! I'm so glad a lot of people participated in it. Everyone had so much fun doing this, that we are talking about maybe doing something like this once a month at work.

Jewel Mania & Bingo! Concepts

Now that some of our new games came out, I can finally update some things I've been working on!

This was an earlier concept I did for our match 3 game that unfortunately didn't make the cut. They were really fun to do. I was trying to go for a vintage robot look, but still maintain the box shapes so they'd be easy for the users to match 3 together.

These were some earlier Bingo characters that also didn't make the cut. Understandably, these characters were too young looking for the older audience we were trying to appeal to.

After some revisions, these are the characters that did end up in our Bingo game!
